Whether you are a first time rider, preparing for your next competition, or looking for new ways to enjoy your horse we have a program that will meet your needs. Many of our students choose to horse show, but there is no expectation to do so. We are always happy to work with someone who is interested in learning for the sake of being a better partner to their horse.
Our horse first training philosophy keeps our equine partners happy, healthy and improving. Levels based training and lesson programs are designed to meet your goals and keep you engaged. We focus on small improvements so that horses and riders feel successful and inspired. We use a mix of flat work, dressage, gymnastic jumping, course work, and trail riding to create happy well-rounded horses and horsemen.
We have combined our decades of experience along with internationally recognized curriculums from the United States Pony Club, Horse Sense Learning Levels, and the United States Hunter Jumper Association and the United States Dressage Federation to create both a mounted and unmounted levels-based curriculum. Whether you’re a competitive rider or just here to learn and enjoy horses you can see the big picture, and the progressive nature of your instruction both on and off the horse.

GROUP LESSONS
We believe strongly in the value of group lessons! They offer a great opportunity to exercise different learning modalities. Learn by watching your fellow riders, by listening and by doing, all while enjoying barn time with friends. When we engage multiple senses in our learning process we gain a deeper understanding more quickly. Group lessons also provide riders practical opportunities to learn skills such as the etiquette of riding in a group, an invaluable skill if you plan to show. Group lessons are 60-90 minutes depending on group size.

PRIVATE LESSONS & TRAINING RIDES
Private lessons and training rides are available to horse owners. Privates lessons are 30 minutes. Riders should be fully warmed up at the start of the lesson.
Private lessons are also available to our riding school students as needed, and when time allows.

TINY RIDERS
Tiny Riders is a special class for budding equestrians ages 3-6. Much of these lessons is spent working with our horses on the ground. Students learn to safely approach a horse in a stall or pasture, halter, lead, groom and tack their horse, with assistance as needed. Correctly learning these basic skills is crucial to a student’s safety and enjoyment of the sport. Participants will also learn basic riding skills. Parents are encouraged to stay and observe, learning alongside their child.

CAMPS
Every year we offer day camps for horse enthusiasts. We offer multi day camps for children ages 6-12 and a 2hr mini-camp for aspiring equestrians ages 3-6. Any level of rider is welcome, including those who have never ridden. Riders are grouped by experience for lessons each day. Campers also participate in unmounted activities including horsemanship activities and fun projects.
To make it a little easier for working parents, we offer a latchkey service during our three-day camps.
New for 2025 we are offering day camps during the school year when schools have a scheduled day off. Our day off camps are suitable for children age 5-11. No previous riding experience is required although we welcome riders of any level. Riding, horsemanship, horse care, projects its all part of the day.
